If I was an Arsenal fan I'd be worried that the players are stuck in an 'always the bridesmaid' mentality. Yeah they're good but can they get over the line?
Tags like bottlers and spice boys are hard to shake. If they keep Arteta they need to sign some winners, leaders. Otherwise like Kev says, some players will get itchy feet.
True but UTD will end up winning more, semis and 2nd place, doesn't really matter, you don't win anything.
but very true, unless barca have money at some point or real need a new player, although they're pretty stocked, same with PSG the 3 that i'd say, don't need either.
real have been linked with William Saliba in future on a free already, but arsenal are doing the right thing- in talks to extend contract before ends up being final year.

iverpool have held advanced talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal for Jeremie Frimpong, according to Sky in Germany.
They are reporting that the 24-year-old is one of the top options to potentially replace the outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the Reds seriously pursuing Frimpong.
It is claimed that the Netherlands international is planning to leave Leverkusen this summer, and he has a release clause of between Ł29.5m and Ł33.7m (€35m–€40m).
It's a obvious transfer to me
It'll be interesting if we go for Frimpong.
He is very much a player who gets ahead of the ball and then receives it to do damage (wing-back style) rather than someone who receives it deep and works it forward via carrying or passing, so we are going to be leaving a gap on that side if he arrives, unless Slot tweaks his game.
He'd be brilliant in a hyper-aggressive set-up like Gasperini's Atalanta but we will need to make tweaks to accommodate his high-risk, high-reward qualities if he comes here.
Yep, all fair.
For the record I really like Frimpong, but I feel he would fit Klopp's set-up much more than Slot's, though admittedly Slot may yet have a "2.0" as it were, so time will tell.
Agree that right-back options are limited. I thought we might go in for Vanderson but we'll see. Read I think isn't ready yet. Mingueza.....Porro.....maybe.
Sod it, see what happens - one good thing about Frimpong is that he and Bradley would give us totally different options stylistically which could be a very good thing.
Lets not forget the dutch links, i'll be surprised if we don't sign him, but we've been here before with a certain manager who's doing great too, not just players.
Should be a very interesting summer, could be a lot changes, probably not, but there's a list of youth/squad players that might be sold for replacements.

I read somewhere last week that Frimpong would be classed as homegrown due to his time at City. Anybody know if that's true?
I didn't even know he'd been at City.
