But I guess some cherry picked stats over 2 seasons can tell us that

This season both he and Gakpo competing for a place has been very healthy for both.

Lose Diaz and we have a problem. This is the point for those without an agenda
I wouldn't be selling any of our attackers now, losing Jota to tragedy enough of a turnover.
For me each of our attackers get a rough time of it on here.

It's funny how ye seem so upset at having stats and facts provided. 2 years of goals & assists all comps.
    Cherry picked stats

Here's our current lot, Jota RIP, Bobby & Mane's Goal-or-assist per minute career stats at LFC...

    Salah 91.3 minutes

    Darwin 112.6
    Jota 112.9
    Chiesa 116.5

    Mane 130.1
    Gakpo 130.6
    Firmino 134.7

    Diaz 156.3

As said Diaz improved his key attacking stats under Slot, even moreso than Gakpo under Slot.

In Diaz's 1st half season, he produced a goal or assist per 153.8 minutes.
Essentially his career rate at LFC.
In 22/23 he produced a goal or assist per 169.6 minutes.
23/24 his worst season for goals & assists per minute.
24/25 his best at LFC to date for end product.

"Upset" . Really? . I really don't think it's worth getting upset over what you think mon ami. But will call out a bullshit narrative when I see one. Comparing Diaz stats from last season with this and Gakpo's - Diaz's issues were obvious for any genuine fan of the club...Gakpo was utter garbage in 2023/24 btw I saw him 3 times in the flesh and he was comfortably our weakest player on the pitch. He was certainly way way better this season. Was it Arne? Who knows - possibly a fellow countryman helped him OR perhaps he just realised he HAD to improve big time or he was out.

What's laughable is your feable understanding of the game. Suggesting Diaz was better last season than he was in his first season - is in the ball park of Gakpo was better than Mo this season.

Give it up fellaaaaah putting it politely - you're a busted flush.

That was a general statement about ye, you, Miller, Kev0 & Justme

"Suggesting Diaz was better last season than he was in his first season - is in the ball park of Gakpo was better than Mo this season."

    Diaz
    24/25 Goal-or-assist per 133.4 minutes (best)
    23/24 Goal-or-assist per 180.8 minutes (worst)
22/23 Goal or assist per 169.6 minutes.
21/22 Goal or assist per 153.8 minutes

Gakpo had a better goals per minute record than Salah in the 24/25 season from open play.

Meaning this season, 24/25, per 90 minutes Gakpo is expected to outscore Mo from open play.

The records suggest it is Diaz whose found his footing moreso under Slot than Gakpo.

yep and these are the only markers. We all know Diaz was a different player before his double injury. Word porridge might cut the mustard for you but it doesn’t pas the smell test my friend.

First game new country new club….
