In videos ive watched he gets physicaly out battled in one on ones, not sure he will cope with premiership defenders.

Looks like he needs to put on a good 10kg

In terms of conditioning he could hardly be at a better club at least.

If he does arrive we will (temporarily?) have 6 forwards again (if Wirtz is playing behind them and thus isn't a forward, per se) which will be a good plateau to build from - then see what happens with the rest of the window regarding Núñez/Diaz and lads like Rodrygo (?) or Mateta (?) and so on.

Squad is really getting to a special place. Centre-back please!

Increasing talk of Bayern having agreed personal terms with Diaz.

Wonder how advanced we are in our own talks for a replacement, if those rumours are to be believed?

Would be absolutely brilliant if we pull that off.

£86m price tag for a 24-year old who has an excellent record in the Champion's League and a bit of a point to prove, with us probably able to get £55m-£65m for Diaz.

Diaz is a joy to watch and very effective at a number of things, but I'll always favour the future-proofing aspect of a younger player and Rodrygo's peak could be higher than Diaz's.

I'll be made up if it pans out that way, much as I'd miss Diaz.

Osimhen would have been my choice after Isak. Think he’s a great striker.

One of the brilliant things about the Ekitike deal is that his surname is the same when spelt backwards or forwards.
    Another win for us.

Ahh, that explains the £85m price tag.
