Always nice to see you support our players and the manager.

The Emperor didn't even play and you're having a go at him.

    Top Red.

He does do a lot without the ball he was our second man working to stop an opponent in lots of different positions all over the pitch, we missed that today as he has quickly got very good in pressing and counter pressing and picking up and we missed him continually showing for the short stuff, but that all showed the folly of trying to make the team tick around one player

Szobo Grav Macca was the best midfield winning the league last season, now several embarrassing losses and points dropped trying to make everything go through Wirtz, it took thrn until the second half to half remember how to play together without him again

You must remember what happened to us sone games MacManaman was successfully man marked

Not denying he’s been better 19 but I’m not having this nonsense that we were poor because he didn’t play.

I say again, he was poor v Brighton and we were ok without any meaningful contribution from the messiah.

He could well have been just as poor as the rest of them today.

Leave him. He's just old and can't see the telly anymore.

What's that grandad? Wirtz? Yea, yea. Want another brew?

That's what you do with old codgers like that.

Slot doesn't think the injury is too serious. He felt some muscular pain in his back.

Hope he isn't out too long as we're very thin on the ground.

Right on cue... the stat dump begins. Posting a direct link to liverpoolfc.com... Deary me... A few days of near silence while the 24-hour blackout 'scrubs' the scene... and now it's back posting POTM lists... our very own data-entry clerk

    The list was for grandad.

I doubt liverpoolfc.com refers to Wirtz as The Emperor

Definitely need Wirtz back and in form promptly.

March 9th (or 11th? - not sure when we play) we will have the Champion's League again and we seem to get that little bit of extra time and space in Europe - Florian can potentially be a big difference-maker in our uphill quest for number 7.

"lol" When you can’t win the argument, you try to put the veterans out to pasture.
