I think we all did, but I expected Isak to be at least 2nd on the scoring charts, I did expect us to be first, or at least challenging too.... not the whole team go to dark places..

Thought we'd improve on a great season, not get worse put it that way but here we are.

He has created a lot of chances. They just haven't been converted. It's not his fault that chances aren't turned into assists.

Trent was a big loss. I know he's struggling at Madrid but he was perfect for us. I wonder if that's part of the reason Salah has gone to shit?

Add in injuries and nothing has really clicked. Frimpong & Bradley haven't been fit for more than 5 minutes. Gakpo poor and out injured. Robbo can't play 90 minutes any more, though thankfully Kerkez is finally looking like a player. And now Isak. That's another big blow. It's very difficult for a team to gel when we can't play a settled line up. And there's still a Jota factor.

Absolutely. It's been a bit of a jinxed season. With Diogo.. and then that young centre back who looked really good, doing his ACL first game! Missing out on Guehi last minute of the window, and now Isak with his broken leg, before he has even got going.
If we can muddle through to the latter stages of the CL, then who knows, with our history and some momentum.

Edwards Hughes and Slot are to blame, we win the league 433 Diaz was one of our best players our midfield 3 were the best midfield in the league, and when we long overdue going to spend the money, it should have been tying Diaz down to a new contract and recruiting to significantly strengthen and improve the 433
