So if we were to go 4-3-3 with him in the side I'd always lean towards deploying him as follows -

    ....................Player

    Player....Player.....Player....Player

    ....................Player

    ........Player............Wirtz

    ...Player........Player.........Player
I have mentioned this recently , this is EXACTLY what I would do , possibly wirtz and szob and a designated holding midfielder who would have to be purchased

Just not enough. I never knew this was even a rule. Would like an explanation still on Diaz’s goal at Spurs - which was miles onside

They apologised for that the following season

I don’t think he’s up to it in that position either

I think part of the issue is Slot trying to make him designated playmaker

The teams the star we have lots of players able to create our problem seems to be we’re continually trying to use one player to do it

Just put him in a position as a link in the machine like every other player

Another example of deliberate bias that robbed us of 3 titles

On there he certainly looks ahead but on the day the game showed lines playing him on. Not as clear as those though.
5 cm rule, Jesus wept as if it wasn't already full of grey areas.

And apparently Germany, Italy and Spain removed that 5cm tolerance level so he might well have been given offside in a European game.

                Not confusing at all
That's crazy that they're not on the same page. You'd think those kind of things would have been ironed out by now with this.
5cm tolerance. How about they all just implement the same system.
Lbs and ounces, metric and imperial etc. lol.

Yep the lines you are talking about are CGI they are bollox - simulated..created, not real... The camera shows him to be what looks like more than 5cm ahead..

Yes it is confusing and it needs sorting out. Shambles that nobody seems to know.

                  • Have you seen any other decisions given using this new tolerance?

                    • It's not new. So there have probably been dozens that you don't know about.

                      • Can't say I have. I am sure they have been though. Have heard some Chelsea fans going on and on and on about something like this. thought they were taking shyte..but maybe not.

I don't mind the rule as long as everyone knows..

                        • No I haven’t either but I will try and find the Chelsea incident

                          • The Emperor could do with a rest but with so many injuries already we have to keep playing him.

After Arsenal we have Barnsley in the cup then Burnley in the league. Could see Wirtz getting a rest during that period.

                            • A rest from what? Being charged with making the play at the expense of all other players and comprehensively failing to?

And I thought Thiago was all fur coat and no knickers
