On wirtz..... just look what he did in germany...... i'm not worried and i'm not sure why he's being compared to other players already, i'm more worried about Isak being broken.

He's not exactly come in at a good time at the moment, I don't think he expected us to be how we are either, he probably expected us to win the league again and challenge for the champs league

I'm not trying to take sides here or anything, and I respect peoples views but have some faith ffs and back the manager and players... it's been a shitstorm.... noone has played well really apart from Ekiteke.... not easy for a player coming into a new league, shit loads of changes.... and salah for example not being able to hit a barn door suddenly...... not to mention rest of the team...

And say wirtz didn't work out like it's some of your wet dreams on here.... at least you can say, I told you so! at least we'd get a fair chunk back off him and he'll probably go somewhere and rip it up.... salah didn't exactly set the world alight at first..... there's plenty of examples, see chelsea.... not only salah... a certain KDB... plenty of examples just from Chelsea.... let's not forget he's only 22... not 32....

Well he wasn't though, then obviously been awesome lately, that's pretty obvious he didn't do anything for a while, simple as.. just saying it how it was at the time... obviously in form again even if Isak was fit now I wouldn't drop him for isak, but then yeah I would have.

Simple as that really, not like I was saying he's the worst signing eveh like you clowns with Wirtz pretty much....

He's been awesome though hit the ground running when the team is a shambles around him (well we got some wins now) didn't expect him to be this good- let's hope he keeps it up.

Anyway you get your wish Ekitke number 1 over isak- isak will never be fit anyhow, it's his spot for sure if he keeps this up i'm not sure how isak gets in the team unless injury, unless you move and shaft ekitike to the left but that's not fair on him, isak wouldn't be no good there him and salah on the wings---- no tracking back would be a shit-show.

Probably don't have to worry about the above until next season anyhow, makes Slot's choice easier ey. and no Ekiteke v Isak debates.

As important as you are king stevo, you are not everyone on this forum, even if the post was directed at you, i meant more in general but that's my bad kind sir.

I thought Miller was better than that especially.... but oh well he waves the price-tag flag around like it's Wirtz fault, but doesn't mention never fit Isak- it's like it's a personal vendetta or something, and he cost that much for a reason, we defo overpaid for Isak who has had injury problems.... and newcastle fans say he can't even last the full 90.... 135m.... bizzare....but lets not mention that, Wirtz can be the scapegoat.

I want the whole flipping team to come good, EKiteke and Szob..... only ones and a few games for Jones... to be honest, never mind Wirtz... the only constantly good players 100% Ekiteke and Szob, which is crazy.

Still think it's a weird signing but I think he'll end up being boss as i've said multiple times not sure it's what we needed over other positions but yeah he's here now.. just crazy few people generally think he's not very good.

Hi Kev, after you last mentioned Isak I responded immediately.
I said both look like a waste of £200m right now. I also mentioned the fact that Isak had barely played compared to the minutes we’ve seen of Wirtz.
We have also seen Isak tear it up in the Prem whereas I haven’t even seen Wirtz have a good 90 yet.

And surely the price tag matters. If you pay £10m for a player you’re not expecting Steven Gerrard, just a squad player, occasionally like with Robbo you get lucky.

But for £100m you expect a hell of a lot more that the quality we’ve seen so far.

I don’t blame Wirtz for a minute, as you rightly said, he didn’t set the price tag, I blame the recruitment team. I said at the time, why aren’t we looking at Morgan Rogers, a proven player in a similar role. It’s a hell of a risk blowing £100m on a young player who’s never played in England.

In Germany he looked like the best kid in the playground every week, well the Premier League is NOT a playground and I think it looks like the step up is too much.

You think differently… fine, not gonna lose sleep over having a different view on a Forum.

But yeah, to me the price tag matters because we should have brought in someone really good from day one for that.
