And lads on sky, not just the pundits but fans saying it should have come sooner. There’s very little room to build anything at a big club now. Unless there’s obvious signs of progress early like klopp here for example. Early result’s weren’t spectacular but you could see a change in the performances pretty early. Your doomed.

yep we often allow our managers time. which i think Slot will get another season if we make it into the champions league. He should go if we don't. considering the standard of the league this season. Top 4/5 is a minimum (depending how many spots there is)

I dunno there’d have to be seem caveats surely. Like if we finished the season on fire with renewed vigour and signs of it all coming together but ultimately miss out by a pint on last day im not sure I’d be up for ripping it up without seeing can it continue onto the next season. If we slog along like this all season and there’s no upturn in form then we’d rightly imo consider all options including getting rid. But I wouldn’t get rid for someone like Southgate for example.

I see your point of view. I just think if we don't get into the champions league spot it will determine Slot's future. But i could be wrong.. That's where the club has to make the right calls. Man-united haven't since Fergie left..and to be fair to the club we have done pretty well.

Yeah that's what I was worried about and mentioned in another thread, especially when we need at least 1 cb 1x wide attacker and a no6... that could easily turn into 2cbs 2xwide attackers

He did alright. They’ve a huge squad now. All great while on the up. Once they win a few things then you have to keep them all happy. Will the likes of Madrid come in for rice or saka for example or will that cb pairing get broken up. These are things they’ll have to deal with now shortly.
