Fuck knows why he took off Gakpo.. I know hes not the best out and wide player.. But to play Wirzt there who will not keep the width at all is bizarre.. we were already struggling to break down a back 8/9. why did we need more bodies centrally.Or am i missing something?

You aren't missing anything. He's a terrible manager who can't even get his players fit.Originally posted by justme View PostFuck knows why he took off Gakpo.. Couldn’t agree more miller. Very worrying times.Originally posted by miller0863 View PostWhatever he achieved last season, was with Klopp’s squad playing with a slightly tweaked Klopp system.
This season he’s persuaded players to join us on the back of having the perfect plan for them.
I’d love to know what that was because the players don’t seem to have a clue.
That was another very worrying performance and I cannot see him turning it round.

Keegan almost won a title with newcastle then lost the plot. Mourinho dominated with chelsea then lost the plot. Brendan almost got us a title then lost the plot. Slot won us a title but has now lost the plot. I struggle to see a manager out there that I would have confidence in & that is a shock to the system. You look at how managers like Thomas Frank & Ange struggle in bigger jobs i see most managers not big enough to handle the liverpool manager (coach) job. I fear the whole post fergie utd thing might become our post klopp thing & that worries me

There’s a bit of that but I think the attitude looks fucking shite on the pitch. These guys haven’t accepted that there’s a big problem with the performance level yet in my view. I know a big chunk is tactical too but my god. Try to actually do something on the pitch please. IMO the chemistry is just gone at the minute. No one wants to say fuck this. Let’s have a go. Let’s just play a bit of ball here. Pussies we look like imo.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostTaxi for VVD&Salah after this season, have to look to the future sometime, thank you for everything and the happy times but it's time for both to go and not leave stinking the place out.

34 isn't he?Originally posted by eggy81 View PostVvd is serious issue lads. He’s absolutely shite at the moment
Rio Ferdinand went to QPR at 35, John Terry played every minute of every League game at 34 in the 14/15 season when they won the League.
Not making a point here - just observational comparison against two of the other alleged centre-back "greats" in recent times.Your hobbies are rollerblading and you're also a bit of a rat-hound? Steel Wool

Are we saying that Virg and Mo have timed their decline at the exact same time? And coincidently with a massive drop in form from Konate, Macca, Bradley, Grav and Gakpo? Or at the the same time as the new lads struggling to get going...

Whatever about a taxi for them, I blame the club here. Where is the succession planning. How many on here have been saying we needed a cb and for how long? Once matip retired, we needed a top cb and we still don't have one. Virgil is 34 and still our one and only top cb. No planning for the cb area. We now need to replace both Konate and Virgil, and get a back up in? The planning from the transfer gurus has been poor. This is in some way out of slots control so there is more than just slot that might need a taxi out of here.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostTaxi for VVD&Salah after this season, have to look to the future sometime, thank you for everything and the happy times but it's time for both to go and not leave stinking the place out.
Did we really need BOTH Isak and Ekitike. At those prices? 5mil extra for Guehi. No thanks we are grand for a cb.

We need game changers. Right now we don't have many. Wirtz is getting going. Szobo is another. Ekitike has been at times. Chiesa has been from the bench. Frimpong could be if fit.Originally posted by eggy81 View PostThere’s a bit of that but I think the attitude looks fucking shite on the pitch. We need pace. We're so slow and predictable. Its so boring. To me that's a reflection of slot. Maybe he's just out of his depth as it looks. From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down, I convulsed with laughter. Someday I intend on reading it. Groucho Marx

We all know if klopp was back for a few weeks he'd have these guys playing some good stuff. It's the whole approach. Let's just get the ball, pass it to death and dominate possession and then lose a goal and not be able to get back into it. Repeat ad nauseum.Originally posted by jozza800 View PostAre we saying that Virg and Mo have timed their decline at the exact same time? We are far too predictable.
You know with Mo and Gakpo exactly what they are going to do every time they get the ball.
Diaz offered something different, he could cut inside, take the player on the outside. You never knew with him and we miss that.
