A really bad move for him and you do wonder what we're Villa thinking, they've barely used him at all. Surely they knew what they were getting?
He's only young so will get sorted eventually but a complete waste of a season for him if he doesn't leave this month.
Sad state of affairs when clubs aren't playing players due to silly contractual loan agreements.

I don't think villa expected to do as well as they have done, and certain players doing very well, can't really blame them things change fast, but at least sort it out now somehow.

Could be I imagine it’s pretty depressing going from playing for the club you support and a manager like Klopp believing in you to being at Villa not getting a game

He’s a bit of an enigma as he’s so often brilliant for England U21’s but can’t produce that at club level

Klopp believed in him so much ,he played hardly any games? I don't like being hard on players. But if they are just short of being the quality you need, you shouldn't play them out of feeling sympathy for them.

I think he maybe overplayed him at times to be fair THAT was one of the Klopp era debates him playing Elliott for a run of games one season
