    I hope Arsenal walk it.

Man City have literally ruined the entire sport with corrupt money-laundering, versus Arteta being a bit of a twat and their fans saying "blud fam" a lot.

      Shame.

He should have tried to strangle him with it then.

        (As I understand the rules....)

1 game suspension if it was a red card that was as a result from a second yellow, and 3 games for a straight red.

Denial of a goal-scoring opportunity is a straight red regardless of how the foul occurred(whether violent or not).
As a result, he got a straight red which means we lose him for 3 games.

It wouldn't matter if it was from just a shirt tug like he did, or he deliberately handballed and parried away an inbound ball at the goal-line.

        Same result.

That's why I said it was more damaging for us that he didn't just let the third goal stand.
Even City didn't want that review.

The goal difference works in their favour.

        • Hard result to take. We were so much better in the 2nd half.

They've literally scored with their first touch in our box in the 2nd half. And then a moment of madness from Ali.

Got to take the positives from it.

As far as I'm concerned that's already happened. The teams above us won't drop as many points as we will. Need a new manager.

I fucking hate both of them teams.

I only recently started hated Arsenal more because of their twat of a manager and their dickish fans, but games like this always remind me why I hate City.

Seeing Pep (Ljinders) on that bench and Guehi in that shirt probably didn't help.

(and Semenyo too, but I was never really of the belief that we could get him (or should have))

My dislike for both of them is approaching SCUM levels.

              • First time in 5 years thst City have beaten us at Anfield, and the first time in about 90 years thst they've done the double over us.

Slot breaking all kinds of records.

                • Imagine if Arsenal win the league by +1 GD after VAR blew up before the end 🤣

Rightly or wrongly, they're likely hoping we can spring a surprise in the Champion's League.

Everton finished above us in 04/05 after all - though you certainly wouldn't want to lump a load of money on it.

                    • Alisson gives a penalty away, doesn’t save it then stays up the pitch which leads to Dom being sent off. Now we’re losing our best player this season in our next game. What possibly can go wrong against Sunderland.

                      • Don't really see how it was slots fault today that Szob is not a RB (and we made no defensive cover signings in jan, but at least we got one for the summer eh) and allisons shite performance

                        Not really his fault.

                        but carry on.

The only positive that could or should come out of this game is Slot, a few of our underperforming players, and Hughes and Edwards get the boot. Unfortunately none of those things are going to occur, at least not in the short term.

We aren't learning from our mistakes, and Slot certainly isn't increasing the mental resistance and composure levels of our players.

This is what Slot has been saying after every awful performance for the last 3 months. Can't wait to hear again about the positives.

Unless he's announcing his resignation he needs to keep his trap shut.

                              • Get the feeling the club needs a re-build, and not so much on the field, but behind, I read the 17, 18, and 19 year old's not doing all that well, even the women's are at the bottom, get the impression the club is not operating like a well oiled machine. The culture has gone, and Slot maybe has pissed off to many players.
