Stop blaming the players this has been brought on by the manager and his mentality and approach to the game, there were signs last season and I moaned when it looked like going too much that way

But he’s lost the mentality that number of games with short nothing passes walking pace not playing the right ball to release players when they’re on absolutely wrecked a lot of elements

He has, and only just recently put some work in the press and counter press, which all the very top sides do better than the low block pressing teams do and mostly counter press while dominating possession, by virtue of not picking up but he started the dropping the line and taking a backward step and inviting pressure

We created plenty of chances today. More than enough to win the game with a bit of clinical finishing. So the players are clearly not trying to get the manager the sack. A couple are in terrible form and likely permanent decline but that's a different issue.

Agreed. Age is a catching up with a few, some are off form, some are not good enough. Squad isn't good enough and injuries don't allow for enough rotation.

If those players are unwilling or unable to become more resilient it's on Slot to find solutions even if it means doing things such as dropping players and playing fringe or youth players. Correct he’s cone out with absolute garbage in recent pressers todays pre-match he was talking like we were beaten before we went out, moaning about injuries when they’d played Wednesday and started most of the sane players

This is exactly my biggest issue. A week to train and didn’t play mid week. We should have dominated and pressed the fuck out of them. Coach and players just ain’t up for the fight this season. Will take some re build to sort this mess out, to be able to fight and compete on all fronts for trophies.

And if you didn't expect City to create chances then you're watching the wrong sport.

This is exactly my biggest issue. A week to train and didn’t play mid week. We should have dominated and pressed the fuck out of them. Coach and players just ain’t up for the fight this season. Will take some re build to sort this mess out, to be able to fight and compete on all fronts for trophies.

No it won’t just a manager whose positive sets a good press and counter press has players run through brick walls for him and come out on the other side fighting and plays attacking football and pushes for second goals and wins rather than take a backward step
