Winning the league in his first season means it's not working? That's a new take.

He should have gone as soon as it was clear his change in the style of play was never going to get anywhere like the best from our players or consistent performances and results and he spent 420m recruiting for it and he kept trying to go back to it

      So end of October latest

Just get De Zerbi he can play an awesome 433 that suits our players better than what Slot’s half arsed fantasy was

No Szobo this is an absolutely must win game a must win game all our remaining games are must win games

              Alisson

              Ramsay Konate Van Dijk Robbo

              Gravenberch Jones Mac Allister

              Salah Ekitike Wirtz

Probably trying to leave Salah & Ekitike up top Wirtz linking more Ekitike’s side with him more central and Robbo who has better delivery pushed up for width Leaves a fair amount of space for any of the 3 mids to arrive in

Get the win play like we did hair the first half hour second half and keep playing like that

Need a strong centre and right side

Slot has already said he wont be starting Ramsay.

                The line will be -

                Ali

Gomez or Endo - Konate - VVD - Robbo

                Grav - Jones

                Salah - Wirtz - Gakpo

                Ekitike

His line ups / changes are as predictable as some of our play...

Given the players available, who would you pick?

Ramsay obviously because he's world class to save the day

I'd have given Ramsay a go. I'd certainly getting young Rio in the team.

Or he could go with Endo in midfield to try and stop us being so easy to play through.

So you'd play two unproven players in a must win game?

Unfortunately, were missing both starting RBs, the CB who'd likely cover and a midfielder who's played there a lot of this season. So yeah, i'd begiving Ramsay his shot now.

Slot's 'treatment' of the fringe players has been comical.

I don't like making comparisons between he and Klopp, but for me this is the main difference between the two managers. Slot doesn't trust them - Klopp would make them feel 100 ft tall.

Yep suddenly the guy who has spent most of his last two seasons in League One at Bolton and Wigan, is the answer to our problems. And he wasn't even getting games for them.

As opposed to plying another midfielder at RB and Gakpo who has been absolutely stinking the place out (and I am one of his few fans btw), absolutely.

As you alluded to, we're stretched at the moment so Mo is lucky he isn't get dropped as well.

That's just not how top level sport works. Slot and any other manager will go with proven international players over League One players and kids every day of the week.

There will be opportunities for Ramsay and Rio in the cup game maybe. But throwing them into a Premier League game at Sunderland that we need to win would be utter madness.
