I'm more than half expecting us to roll over at Everton shortly and that will be the limit. Manager and squad who look as thought they just can't be bothered.
Ditto. Every team loses games, but it's how you lose, how often you lose, and whether you can see or feel that any issues you're having are being addressed. There's nothing we can hang out hat on.

Were getting pumped by a sub par Man City team. I dread to think what the score is going to be in both the individual games against PSG and the aggregate score. A double figure aggregate defeat is a distinct possibility.

    • Our squad is threadbare, when you are forced to play Wirzt and Jones in midfield..I dunno which one is supposed to be on the left?? We probably tried to play in numbers in midfield. but have no width and Salah offers nothing on the other side

They have owed the fans a lot more than 1 performance surely?

Been an issue for a bit chunk of the season.

Would love to know what the fitness plan was at the start of the season, in terms of conditioning.

Under Benitez and Klopp we often saw the lads conditioned to be fitter for the second half of the season. The lads have looked absolutely gassed for big chunks of 25/26 - some of that will be certain players getting too many minutes, but there's more to it than that.

No he wasn't here last season. But funnily enough the players were.

There's no downplaying Jurgen's contribution, he deserves all the plaudits he gets and you're right we don't get anywhere near 95+ points with Jurgen.

But at the same time he wouldn't be replicating the success if he had team full of cabbages.

You need both good players and a good manager to be successful. We have one of the two at the moment.

            • You look at the likes of Semenyo and his upper body strength and we have the likes of Wirzt.. I can understand why didn't want to pay him 300 thousand a week. But we need better physicality in the team

              • I think each club Kloppo managed had a significant drop off eventually after he left, such was the way he became part of the fabric at each set up. Really looks like we glossed over that for a year with the title win, then exacerbated by Diogo losing his life.Plus a manager who looks as depressed as most of his squad and lacking answers.

I've been loathe to say it...it's not the players it has to be the manager! For me Mo cannot have a drop off that big in the space of one season....So whaterver is happening in training has to be a huge part of the equation...not even tactics but training. Its like all quality has left him ,no ball control, no speed,....Look how good Wirtz was for Germany????? He's done as far as i'm concerned unless he stops tying to play his new style and has the humility to go back to waht works with these players!

You're again inventing an argument. Who mentioned cabbages? You did.

The point is - last season Klopp's players - and we are talking about 100% of them too - went into the season on the back of a rally cry from - Who? Who was it who sung the name of the next in line? Or had you forgotten that unique fact?

The same players that took 82 points despite record injuries hit season and integrating a brand new midfield quadruple in their first season - and en route to the title we took just 2 points more. This despite almost no injuries - both rivals on the floor - City dropping miles off the pace and Arsenal injury after injury to key players all season.

We were never the best squad last season - we weren't even the second best.

One day you will realise this

Decent players yes but not the level to win a title without Jurgen Klopp levels of coaching and management. They didn't forget everything in one summer - - seemingly many took the best part of a year.

                    • Pay whatever it takes to bring in Alonso right now. Have King Kenny as his assistant for the remainder of this season so both can remind them of the sweat, blood and tears needed every single time you wear our shirt.

With a good manager this squad is capable of competing.

                        • We were going toe to toe for 39 minutes but as has happened ALL season we collapsed the minute we conceded.

4 goals in 18 minutes these mentality monsters conceded today.

You are definitely doing that with me as I never said we didn't have one player good enough.

I wasn't supporting that statement most likely made about the players performance levels today. I am suggesting that the squad that won the title was far more than the sum of its parts. YOu are continually trying to suggest otherwise... which I think many will come to see as a daft position
