Oh yes congratulations to Newcastle, a well deserved victory and if I had to lose to any team in a Final, I think Newcastle is that team…70 fucking years… they deserve some joy, go and paint the town Red and thoroughly enjoy your victory…
I’m having none of that the confidence & belief have remained VERY much intact, just the weary bodies can’t produce what the minds want them too

4 games in 2 weeks 2 of them against the best pressing & counter pressing high energy side I’ve seen us play at any time topped with greater footballing ability than any team I’ve seen play that way either & a third game of the 4 in 2 weeks against another very high energy team today

A good rest & recharge to regain our own levels of energy dynamism & drive will do our lads the power of good in certain

As ever all the focus on the next game & getting the win YNWA

Where was Endo? After 20 mins we needed someone like him and certainly 3 at the back he would have been ideal. Gapko must play the rest of the season and based on his cameo Chiesa knows how to score unlike Darwin or Jota

I think there are a few players that Slott doesn't rate, and those include the likes of Endo.

And then he goes and does exactly the same (bar Quansah who came in for the injured Trent).
There really is nowhere to hide this time around.

That the team could go into the halftime break after playing such a shite first half and then they come out and play exactly the same way and concede almost immediately.

    Shameful.
    I agree, entirely.

We didn't stop them taking over did we, they owned the club. Fan protests might have had a part in them selling up but if they'd wanted to stick around they would.
Same with FSG, same with the Glazers. There will be he'll on if Virgil,Trent and Salah are allowed to leave but there's no way it would result in them selling the club.

Agree. There's no science behind that defeat.
We were tired after a hard week, Newcastle were fresh and them wanting that game far more on top of that was the reason they won.
There's too much silly revisionism after we lose or drop points. Too much expectancy also.

Well done the toon. Not overly disappointed.
Our team is spent and desperately needs time off. Hopefully we can get over the league line. Come on FSG buy us a team to compete next year. We have been so lucky this year that everyone else has been piss poor

Highly paid sportspeople shouldn't be able to fast on a matchday and think their available for selection. End of. Add a few xtra days of non matchday fasting onto end of Ramadan if needs be, I'm sure Allah will be satisfied with that. The club should be clear on this, if those players religious beliefs (ridiculous imo) preclude them eating or drinking at crucial times then find a new religion or find a new job/club.

Whats next - born again Christians not playing on a Sunday.
