I just can't see the owners standing down and accepting that things go back to an almost all powerful manager.

That likely friction is why Klopp would need cast iron guarantees when it comes to his autonomy over anything to do with the team and transfers. There was no continuity between what Klopp inherited and what he made us. If he was allowed to do his job properly I doubt he would do anything to dilute his legacy.Originally posted by Steveo View PostMuch as I would love to se him back - I would worry about the massive changes behind the scenes and the loss of the continuity after last summer. I cannot see him just slotting in between or even under Hughes and Edwards..
Everything we have won in the last decade is down to that man. Be a real shame IF he came back and his legacy got diluted in some way.

The trouble is that it may well just be wishful thinking on our part, and even if he was prepared to return it's unlikely that those in charge of the purse strings and recruitment would be prepared to do what was necessary to tempt Klopp back to the club.

Why would Klopp need millions and millions? he had the lowest net spent compared to our rivals.Originally posted by RedMagic View PostIf there's a chance that Klopp would consider coming back to us, the club should do everything it can to make that happen even if that means making Klopp 'officially' the highest paid manager in the world, and guaranteeing him a large transfer kitty to spend on the players he wants every season.

But no point talking about it, Klopps not coming back, move on.

You're likely right about this, but maybe he'd want to work with Wirtz, Germany's young star player.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostListen pal, why on earth would he want to come back again?
Imagine you've built a team.... carried on for years and years, stress week in week out, against cheats fc and bore fc..... (prem is a joke btw, best league in the world for sure, but yet somehow the most boring, look at the title winners) and come back and do it all again and have to rebuild the squad to what he wants etc..........and risk a legacy.... the prem has changed a lot since Klopp was here already, his tactics would lead to us getting bum'd on the counter constantly.
would you?
it's just not going to happen, move on ffs
