Former Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks has died aged 79.

A spokesperson for the American businessman, who owned the Reds for three-and-a-half years before selling up in 2010, confirmed he died surrounded by his family in Dallas on Saturday.

If Mbappe manages to squeeze 7 goals out of the next 6 fixtures remaining in the calendar year for Real Madrid, he'll (narrowly) beat the Real Madrid club record for goals in a calendar year - which, unsurprisingly, is held by Ronaldo.

Can't say I like, well, anything about Real Madrid - but that would undeniably be impressive.

No we’re not he has that idiot Kerkez pushed up looking to be in space not pressing a player waiting for the moment t to get ahead of him and join the attack when it’s on

Slot being here our form and the malcontent could see us miss out on Semenyo and we can’t afford to

Were Jurgen still here there wouldn’t even be a conversation we need slot gone

I would sign Semenyo and ditch Wirtz. Not gonna make it with us.. I know its early with him,but you need quick players. once you slow the play down even a bit, teams get behind the ball so quickly..I;d change formation a bit rather than push on the front foot. and close the space in the oppositions half. don't get over run at the back, just be patient and then wait until the opponents press you on the front food and use the space between them.. You have to be amazingly good as a team to press in the opposition's half when they sit very deep.Right now we are also pressing our fullbacks forward to help in wide ares and thats leaving us wide up down the sides as well as the middle. its because we have no natural width. our wide players always come inside.
Konate and Virgil have been shit but we are lacking a little extra protection for them. so they having to make split decisions whether to close the ball or drop off.. its lead Konate getting caught trying to press the ball and sometimes we drop off and are getting the offside wrong. playing deeper would give us extra protection..

we were more controlled until our collapse last season. when we saw the finish line approaching for the title. seems we have carried on the stupid unthinking over all play since then..

Would anyone take Van De Ven in the next 2 windows

Semenyo and Sarr would be useful except they’re both bloody AFCON players

Manchester City are ready to make Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson, 23, one of their top transfer targets in 2026 and prefer him to fellow England midfielder Adam Wharton, 21, of Crystal Palace. (Mail)

I think its rather sickening that these 115 or 130 whatever it is now charges.Seems to be no movement on it at all,and these charges have been in place 3 years this coming February.
The premier league are fucking useless. with bent referees as well as other corrupt shit going on. pathetic bunch of twats

Heitinger sacked by Ajax (no surprise), think he was liked by the Liverpool squad. Van Bronkhorst (apparently unliked by the squad) in line to be national coach of Indonesia. Bring back Johnny! Maybe it's that simple!
