They shouldn’t really be thinking about sacking him. They’ll lose their compo claim from Man Utd.

Cant see klopp coming back, would only be here 2 yrs max and back to searching for a manager.
At the moment its slots job to lose but dont get carried away with our unbeaten run of 4 wins,5 draws in premiership inc draws to leeds twice, fulham & sunderland points dropped to teams we should be beating.alonso should sit it out untill the summer,if slot turns it round fair enough and alonso can move on.

He’s Souness mark 2 with his fantasy manager looks good on paper wank fest over Wirtz egomaniac plan

He is displaying EXACTLY the sane dumb as fuck arrogance that HE can come to a top top club and reinvent the wheel m, Rio up the blueprint of years of success all the players are used to and bin sone top players off Diaz/Nunez who don’t fit into his fantasy

And he’s made an almighty fuck up of the summer window and our season and the club if he’s allowed to continue

I’d slap him down “433 or the door, your choice”

Well outside of Red Bull's promotional shots he looks pretty tired to me.

Very good interview this actually - well worth a proper watch.

Doesn't look like he has the energy needed to run a club built on a sell-to-buy model..

Yeah. It may not be the same as usually it's not when someone goes back. Klopp was tired and deserves his rest. I'd be very happy with Alonso.

"It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again."

"I am like a proper sports car – not the best one but a pretty good one, can still drive 160, 170, 180 mph but I am the only one who sees the tank meter is going down. The outside world doesn't see that, that's good, so you go as long as you have to go, but then you need a break."

"When we sat there together talking about potential signings, the next summer camp and can we go wherever, the thought came up, 'I am not sure I am here then anymore' and I was surprised myself by that."

"My managerial skills are based on energy and emotion and that takes all of you and needs all of you. I am who I am and where I am because of how I am, with all the good and bad things, and if I can not do it any more then stop it... I can not do it on three wheels."

I say Trivago adds and Sponsored Red Bull promos and punditry at the World Cup. is more up his street just now. Still needs "a break". carrying a club to the top - while it's run by penny pinchers is exhausting

There he is... the man who built, coached and crucially 'managed' the teams that got to 3x CL finals - winning a 6th European cup, Premier league titles number 19 and number 20...

    Jurgen Klopp.
