I did predict 15 points from the opening 10 games. So what...? ...You predicted Darwin would be earth shattering. Again - so what.. What has any of that to do with what we are discussing. ?

Slot won the league with 2 points more than the same squad managed the season prior. That 82 points coming with a brand new midfield - in their first season. Unprecedented Injury crisis to boot and 2 rivals who would both have finished above us last season - with the Arse 5 points clear in second..?

City and Arsenal both had better squads - the points show it - OUR owners actions this summer show that THEY think it too.

Before we found a manager I suggested a massive slump from us. No argument and I have never denied it. Most people did. YOU alone knew we would win the title and I assume you have the winnings to prove it.

However as early as August once I had listened to Slot speak - before his team had even kicked a bal - I suggested and this I put in quotes. "the owners might just have done it again" and my meaning was clear. I was suggesting that they might just have found the guy that was perfect for the job at hand. A different guy to Jurgen who had to build it all from scratch.. but potentially the perfect fit once more.

Also I told you all that Klopp would walk towards the backend of his penultimate season. And many laughed. This was just a few months before he announced he would.
In fact we now know he was thinking about announcing it before the season even started. So my hunch was spot on. I could see the exhaustion - the mental fatigue it took him to build that squad and keep it competitive with the budget he had. ONLY finally managing to belatedly upgrade the midfield which had lost its legs.

This is what I said - and it was all but proved correct by the big man himself. He couldn’t operate at that intensity anymore. Why? Because he took on the lot. The Club too have all but admitted he was doing to much and have since diluted the role for Slot.

So once again for the two seemingly unlikely bedfellows - You are both guilty of being unable to read - comprehend - and of failing to accept reality AND the facts.

For the record Slot did an amazing job last season, but anyone denying he did it with Klopp's squad is literally denying the facts. Anyone who tries to suggest that every one of those players who won that title we not only bought under Klopp but coached into the players they are today by him.


If you want to compare I suggest that Jurgen Klopp's last season (2023/24) was a better, more difficult achievement than Arne Slot's title-winning season (2024/25) because the level of competition Klopp faced was vastly superior. City were not in the midst of 115 charges and Arsenal didn't have their own litany of injuries. Here goes:


Klopp's Last (2023/24)----82 points----3rd---91 points (Man City)
Slot's First (2024/25)-----84 points----1st ---84 points (Liverpool)


Look at the points. Klopp's team got 82 points and finished 3rd, while Slot's team (Klopp's players) got 84 points and won the title. The difference is only 2 points, but the outcome is the whole league. Why? Because the league itself was fundamentally different.


Last season was a title won by us managing 2 points more than the same team with an entirely new midfield...in it's first season.. BUT also partly due to rivals' massive underperformance. If a Liverpool fan is too blinkered to accept that - that is their problem not mine.

The 90+ Point Barrier: In Klopp's peak years, and in his last season, the Premier League title required a minimum of 90-95+ points (Man City won with 91 points in 2023/24, and often won with 97, 98, or 100).

Imagine a manager coming in, new league, new team and winning the league rather easily and stll STILL all down to klopp yep.. that's he won the season before, squad didn't change that much

Then when Slot won the league he pivoted to Klopps squad, and all Slot did was play the great squad Klopp left to Slot. The same best 11 even refusing to acknowledge the emergence of Grav under Slot
